I believe that the kind of media institution that might distribute my product would be either "Caravan films" or "Channel 4 films". Caravan films have a great deal of experience in producing and distributing films without a budget, and have in the past produced other no-budget psychological thriller films such as "LITHIVM" which would provide a great basis to distribute my product as they have so much experience in this. Channel 4 films have also produced many no-budget films, though not many of them are psychological thrillers, making them a possibility but not our first choice when it comes down to distribution.
Spotty Dog films also produce some no-budget films, yet almost none of them are psychological thriller films, making it more difficult to have this company distribute our product.
While the largest UK film company is "Working Title", and it would be a very good company to distribute our film, Working Title only produce high budget films, making it very unlikely we would be able to have them distribute our media product. As well as this, Working Title specialize in comedy films and rom coms, two genres which are very different to ours.
